Yoga

The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between mind, body and spirit. Practicing the poses, yoga classes can include instruction on breathing, call and response chanting or meditation. Some find that the physical practice of yoga becomes a gateway into a spiritual exploration while others just enjoy a wonderful low-impact workout that makes them feel great. Whatever your tendency, you will be able to find a yoga class that suits your style.


Mat Pilates & Reformer Pilates

We are the only fitness center on the north shore to offer Reformer Pilates Instruction!  This type of training will lengthen and tone your body to absolute perfection. All while improving flexibility and building lean muscle.  


Kick Boxing

Combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Unlike other types of kickboxing, cardio kickboxing does not involve physical contact between competitors - it's a cardiovascular workout that's done because of its many benefits to the body.


Spinning

Your spinning instructor plans a ride terrain, and sets the ride to music. Aside from being great fun, you will get fitter faster than you ever believed possible. Spinning is an indoor bike ride that is proven to achieve faster weight loss than any other indoor exercise. Spinning will literally lift inches off your bum and shape your legs.


 

Cardio Dance

Have fun and sweat at the same time! This class combines elements from Jazz, Hip Hop, Swing, and Latin! You do not have to know how to dance to participate. A perfect workout for clients who want to work up a sweat, burn calories and learn some new dance steps while having fun. Perfect for all types of clients; steps are easy to follow.


 

Steps

This class uses an adjustable platform that is adjusted to one's fitness level. Class can be intensified with power step moves or challenging with choreographed moves. It is a high energy step workout designed to increase cardiovascular fitness. Improves: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and agility.


Stretching

This class will help lengthen your body and get rid of stiffness. A great addition to any regular exercise program.


 

Boot Camp

A no-nonsense military-style workout. Sprints, push-ups, abdominals, basic calisthenics, and weight training are all included in this intense class. Guaranteed to create rapid body-changing results.


 

Awesome Abs

A total focus on abdominal conditioning.  An intense and concentrated half hour geared toward getting you your six pack! Compliments any workout regimen perfectly, abs are crucial for improving posture, back aches and pains, total body wellness and strength.


 

Total Body Work Out

Head to toe sculpting! This class utilizes a full array of aerobic equipment including spri bands & free weights.  Instructors talk you through a full hour of exercise at the perfect pace.


 

Ball & Sculpt

This class utilizes the resist-a-balls, Spri Bands, and free weights, to give you a total body work out. Strength, flexibility and core stabilization will be emphasized.
